Terms of Service

Effective 2026-08-02

DUTYPROOF compares the duties in a reference letter against the official NOC 2021 catalogue and reports where they do and do not line up. These are the terms for using it.

This is not immigration advice

DUTYPROOF is a document-analysis tool, not an immigration representative. Under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, only licensed lawyers, Quebec notaries, and Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants may advise or represent a person for consideration on a Canadian immigration matter. DUTYPROOF does none of those things.

What it does is mechanical: it takes the text you provide, compares it against the published ESDC catalogue for the NOC code you claim, and reports matches, gaps and exclusions. Every finding traces to that catalogue. It does not tell you which code to claim, what to write, or whether to file.

Nothing here creates a solicitor-client or consultant-client relationship. If you need advice on your case, consult a licensed professional.

No outcome is guaranteed

A favourable DUTYPROOF result does not mean your application will be approved. An unfavourable one does not mean it will be refused. Officers weigh the whole application and exercise discretion. We report what the catalogue says about your text; we cannot predict a decision.

You remain responsible for everything you submit to IRCC, including the accuracy of the NOC code you claim and the truth of your reference letter.

Your content

You keep ownership of the text you submit. You grant us only the permission needed to run the analysis, store your audit history, and regenerate your memo. See the Privacy Policy for what is stored and for how long.

Do not submit text you do not have the right to share, and do not include personal information beyond what a NOC review needs.

Payment and access

Prices are in Canadian dollars and shown before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.

A single audit grants one analysis and its memo. Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy: fourteen days, no questions asked.

Availability and limits

The service is provided as is. We aim to keep it available and correct, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Acceptable use and changes

Do not attempt to extract the underlying dataset in bulk, resell access, or use the service to build a competing catalogue. Do not use it to prepare knowingly false representations to a government.

We may update these terms; the date above marks the current version. Material changes will be reflected here. Questions: admin@scoreroutecanada.ca.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
