Three steps. Deterministic checks. One clear record of the duties and evidence the letter does or does not contain.
Enter the claimed code and title, then paste the employment letter or duties.
DUTYPROOF reads the official NOC 2021 title, main duties, and occupation exclusions for the five-digit code you enter.
The checker looks for concrete evidence of official duties and verifies dates, hours, salary, status, title, employer contact details, and signature.
Screening passes only when a share of the official duties is evidenced (at least two, more for long lists) and the checklist is complete. Otherwise, DUTYPROOF shows the gaps, exclusions, and alternate codes to investigate before submission.
The checker is deterministic. It does not invent duties or rely on an AI-generated legal score.
A title or generic phrase cannot pass screening. A share of the official duties, never fewer than two, needs distinct, meaningful evidence in the submitted text.
Nine work-evidence fields are marked found, missing, or uncertain, with the supporting excerpt shown when one exists.
Official occupation exclusions and the closest alternate NOCs are surfaced so a questionable code can be investigated directly.
Verbatim overlap with official NOC wording is flagged so the letter can describe the real work in the employer's own language.
Start with one NOC reference-letter audit: paste the letter, review the duty evidence and missing fields, then download the memo.
